Many areas of the U.S. have reflectors embedded into the road surface. Almost all of the reflectors are yellow, but occasionally one of the reflectors is blue. Tuesday trivia time!
What is the significance of the blue reflectors?

The blue reflectors indicate location of fire hydrants to help speeding fire trucks.
